My Story Didn't Start With Coaching. It Started With Chiropractic.
My roots in healthcare go back to the early 1990s. What started as a plan to become an athletic trainer took an unexpected turn — and that turn led me through nearly three decades in healthcare, from Physical Therapy aide to licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to Doctor of Chiropractic.
I loved patient care — and I was good at it. My adjusting skills were something I took great pride in, and my patients knew it. But what set me apart from most providers was that I also understood the business side of practice. While others ignored it, I leaned into it — and it showed in my revenue. I became the person my colleagues called when they had questions about fee schedules, how to talk to patients, how to handle staff, or why their numbers weren't adding up.
Then everything changed. A car accident left me with injuries that made it impossible to continue practicing the way I had. It was devastating — but it was also clarifying. What I realized was that I had been doing informal coaching for years. The transition to doing it officially wasn't a reinvention. It was finally stepping into what I was meant to do all along.
Our Mission
I know what it feels like to sit in a room full of chiropractors who all seem to have it figured out. I also know that a lot of it isn't real. Early in my career I was burned out, underpaid, and surrounded by ego-driven advice that made me feel like I was doing everything wrong. The truth was, nobody was teaching us how to actually run a business. I started The Practice Simplified because I didn't want other providers to go through what I went through — feeling lost, overwhelmed and too proud to ask for help. This is a judgment-free zone. No ego, no bravado, just honest coaching from someone who has been exactly where you are.
